A SEA EPIGRAM.
Says the captain, still gay, tho' his tryal was near,
To the cook, a poor culprit, "cheer up, never fear."
Says the cook, "like you, captain, I'd put on gay looks,
"If the judge and the jury to try me were cooks."
On certain Courts M-------l.
From tribunals of this spot what hope of relief,
Will my brother adjudge that I am a thief ?
